Fort Greene Row House

We converted this decaying SRO into an owner's triplex and garden rental, gutting whole floors and rebuilding the kitchen extension to fill the spaces with natural light. Exposing the original brick and plaster, we juxtaposed these rough finishes with clean custom cabinetry in saturated colors. The cabinetry serves multiple functions—defining rooms, forming walk-in closets, and thus limiting the need for sheetrock walls.
