Flatiron Office

The penthouse was a maze of dead-end corridors when this ad agency took it over. We organized the circulation along a central spine, emphasized by office doors that slide on a single track. Office hierarchies are expressed by graduated partition heights. Above 8’-0”, we retained the industrial character of the space, but muted the exposed pipes and beams by painting them out white. The reception area is defined by a security wall of clear glass and privacy panels of etched glass.
